Just days after announcing the exciting return of live television for this coming weekend’s six Legends Cars National Championship with MRF Tyres races at Donington Park, series organisers have today confirmed two additional online outlets for the full two-day 247.tv broadcast.

Added to the live coverage which will be streamed on YouTube and also the 247.tv Facebook page, fans of the UK’s very best wheel-to-wheel and bumper-to-bumper action will also be able to watch the entirety of the Donington Park action on Saturday, 22nd August, and Sunday, 23rd August, here on the Legends Cars National Championship website and also the official championship Facebook page.

There will also, of course, be a one-hour highlights programme post-event which will exclusively feature the all-action Legends Cars. This will be broadcast on the FreeSports channel, available on Freeview, Sky, Virgin Media, TalkTalk TV and BT TV.

Links to the online coverage will be shared across the various Legends Cars social media platforms ahead of the weekend. The addition of live streaming to the website and the championship Facebook page has been made possible through sometime Legends Cars racer Phil Turner and his company 24 Hour Solutions.

Commenting on the enhanced broadcast package for this weekend’s action, Legends Cars National Championship with MRF Tyres owner Phil Cooper said: “We were already extremely excited by the return of live coverage for the Legends Cars at Donington through Adrian Battersby and 247.tv – now that’s being boosted even further thanks to another ‘247’, Phil Turner at 24 Hour Solutions.

“We really are over the moon to be able to bring live Legends Cars racing to fans up and down the country, and overseas too, through their laptops, PCs, smart phones, tablets and smart TVs. I must say a big thank you to Margrasil for their support, and also a special thank you to Nathan Anthony who will be a key part of the coverage this weekend with interviews and insight.”

Cooper added: “The best entertainment and fast-paced action is what we’re all about, the perfect recipe for TV. I’m sure the six Donington Park races will be very popular indeed with all motorsport fans across the spectrum.”
