Organisers of the Legends Cars National Championship with MRF Tyres are today delighted to confirm the provisional calendar for the 2019 season – the landmark 25th anniversary year of Legends Cars racing in the UK.

Featuring five race weekends alongside the hugely popular British Truck Racing Championship, the all-action Legends Cars will also visit Anglesey in North Wales once again and the blue riband event will undoubtedly be the immense American Speedfest at Brands Hatch.

Marking a true celebratory season for Legends Cars, the 25th anniversary championship will begin over Easter weekend at Brands Hatch Indy Circuit – the first of three visits to the Kent venue – with action on Easter Sunday, 21st April, and Easter Monday, 22nd April.

The trip to the picturesque Anglesey Circuit will follow over the weekend 25th/26th May ahead of a journey back to Brands just one week later for American Speedfest VII, a welcome return to the huge festival of all things Americana after a highly successful maiden appearance this year.

Following a two-month summer break, the Legends Cars competitors will be back in action at Donington Park in Leicestershire on 10th/11th August ahead of the annual visit to Snetterton 300 Circuit in Norfolk on 7th/8th September.

Pembrey Circuit in South Wales will host the category over the weekend 5th/6th October before the anniversary campaign concludes on 2nd/3rd November back at Brands Hatch Indy Circuit – the track where Legends racing in the UK first began a quarter of a century ago.

Before all of that, though, the championship will kick-off the build-up to the new season as it always does during the Autosport International Show at Birmingham’s NEC which runs from Thursday, 10th January, to Sunday, 13th January.

As the true launch to the new motor racing year, ASI is always a key date on the Legends Cars schedule and championship owner Phil Cooper will be in attendance across all four days of the show on Stand 2590 in Hall 2.

Drivers interested in looking at Legends Cars for the 2019 season, the most cost-effective and, undoubtedly, value-for-money form of circuit racing on British shores, are warmly invited to head along to the Legends Cars stand to find out more about the best big grid racing in the UK.

“We’re all incredibly excited for the 25th anniversary season, it’s a huge landmark for Legends Cars in the UK and we’re delighted with the continuity of our incredibly strong calendar for 2019”, said Phil Cooper, “As well as visiting some of the very best tracks in the UK, we’re again featuring at five of the huge British Truck Racing events and, of course, the massive American Speedfest.

“Brands Hatch is where it all began for us 25 years ago, so it’s fitting our season begins and ends there once again. We’re also delighted to be returning to both Anglesey and Pembrey, the visits to Wales are always spectacular. I’m also very happy to confirm our attendance at the Autosport show in Birmingham in January too, we’re looking forward to seeing plenty of drivers and fans there.”
